We are currently looking for a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Logistics Supervisor to join our operations team.
Position Overview
The Warehouse Logistics Supervisor oversees daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure freight is received, stored, and distributed efficiently and safely. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, supervising logistics staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting smooth warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable leading teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movement with internal departments and external carriers
- Lead and support warehouse/logistics coordinators and operational staff
- Monitor workflow efficiency, inventory accuracy, and shipping schedules
- Ensure timely picking, packing, palletizing, destuffing, and storage activities
- Maintain operational records, reports, and documentation
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and vendors regarding operational matters
- Assist with load planning, trailer coordination, and carrier scheduling
- Monitor team attendance, schedules, and operational performance
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and operational standards
- Support a positive, team-oriented warehouse environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, or distribution operations
- 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities
- Experience coordinating shipments and working with carriers/3PLs is an asset
- Comfortable using warehouse systems, Microsoft Excel, and operational software
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
