Come join our team as our new Lending Services Administrator and be part of our Centralized Services Department at our Surrey Corporate Office. As the Lending Services Administrator, you will be responsible for providing retail lending administrative support to retail branches and other mid-office departments within the organization. Responsibilities include processing routine lending requests in accordance with established Credit Union policies, and guidelines, reconciling general ledger and suspense accounts and providing support to branch staff.
What you’ll do:
- Process all retail lending requests in accordance with Credit Union policies, guidelines and established SLAs.
- Requests include, instructing legal professionals, funding, maintenance transactions, payout and discharge pf all retail lending products.
- Ensure security registration is completed in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures and escalates exceptions to the Assistant Manager, Lending Services in a timely manner.
- Identify routine issues and resolves in a timely manner within own level of expertise.
- Escalate more complex issues to Assistant Manager, Lending Services for resolution.
- Identify and escalates areas of opportunity for process improvement or possible removal of redundant tasks to Assistant Manager, Lending Services.
- Supporting Centralized Transformation in learning, understanding, and performing reviews relating to lending
What you bring:
- 1 – 3 years of experience working in a Frontline role or lending administration within the financial industry.
- Direct experience using Wealthview banking system
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan, schedule, organize and prioritize work assignments
- Able to try new work approaches and processes.
- Knowledge of retail lending products and services
- Understanding of Credit Union policies and guidelines
- Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel
What we offer:
- Prospera offers a total compensation package of base salary plus incentives that is market competitive and reviewed annually. Our expected starting pay rate for this role is $23.58/hour to $29.48/hour (prorated based on actual hours worked) based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity.
