Employees in this position complete spring clean-up and gravel removal activities on a seasonal basis. This position also entails the maintenance of turf areas at both condominium and commercial properties throughout the summer, followed by fall clean up. This work is completed using push mowers, ride-on mowers, trimmers, backpack blowers, power brooms, and other hand tools.
Required Qualifications
- Experience using backpack blowers, push mowers, and trimmers are required
- Experience using ride-on mowers such as Walker's, Gravely's, and Toro's is required
- Experience operating trucks and trailers is required
- An openness to learning company-specific processes and procedures while enacting prior experience in a team environment
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency (essential for success)
- An appreciation for a safety-conscious workplace
- Class 5 Driver's Licence is required
- Eligible to work in Canada
