Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to maintain safety and security across our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft or damage, and ensuring a safe environment for staff and visitors. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is a plus, along with familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention strategies.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure security protocols are followed.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established procedures.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for reporting purposes.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, or vendors.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents requiring external intervention.
- Enforce facility policies and safety regulations to uphold a secure environment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques.
- Strong understanding of loss prevention methods and security protocols.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations.
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
