Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Solar Site Supervisor to lead and oversee the construction and installation of solar energy projects. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily on-site activities for solar installation projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any issues promptly
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure installations meet industry standards and client specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide installation processes
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and assist with construction estimating to maintain financial efficiency
- Utilize construction management software such as Primavera P6 for scheduling and progress tracking
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality assurance
- Lead team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates on project status
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Document project activities accurately for reporting purposes
Skills
- Strong supervisory experience within construction or renewable energy projects
- Expertise in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to solar installations
- Knowledge of construction estimating
- Familiarity with quality control procedures in a construction environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
