Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Line Helper to join our South Indian Restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to restaurant standards
- Support cooking processes by preparing ingredients and maintaining kitchen stations
- Help with food handling, ensuring proper safety and hygiene practices are followed
- Serve dishes to customers efficiently and courteously when required
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure quality and safety of all menu items
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Assist with restocking supplies and organizing ingredients for efficient workflow
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, or meal assembly is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is advantageous
- Experience working in the food industry or kitchen setting will be beneficial for understanding restaurant operations
- Willingness to learn new skills related to Indian cuisine and restaurant procedures
