Job Duties
- Greet visitors at the Welcome Centre and provide information about local attractions, events, and services.
- Answer questions from tourists and residents and provide directions or recommendations.
- Assist with distributing brochures, maps, and tourism materials.
- Support community events and tourism activities as required.
- Clean and maintain public facilities, including washrooms, beach areas, municipal buildings, and surrounding grounds, including waste collection and disposal.
- Ensure public spaces are safe, clean, and welcoming for residents and visitors.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of cleaning and facility maintenance.
- Strong customer service and communication skills to assist visitors at the Welcome Centre.
- Friendly, reliable, and professional when interacting with residents and tourists.
- Willingness to take initiative and handle a variety of tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Applicants must be returning to school in the fall to be eligible.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
