Duties
- Lead and manage condominium law cases, including development projects, governance issues, and dispute resolution
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as declarations, bylaws, agreements of purchase and sale, and settlement documents
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like LexisNexis to stay current on relevant statutes and case law
- Provide expert legal advice to developers, property managers, boards of directors, and individual unit owners
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, or court proceedings related to condominium disputes or enforcement actions
- Develop and implement strategies for risk management and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions
Experience
- Proven experience practicing condominium law or real estate law with a strong understanding of property development and governance issues
- Demonstrated expertise in legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of reaching favorable outcomes for clients
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear, precise legal documents and correspondence
- Proficiency in legal drafting techniques specific to condominium agreements, bylaws, and related documentation
- Prior experience advising clients on complex legal matters involving property rights and dispute resolution is highly desirable

Pay: $250.00-$325.00 per hour
