Precision Aero Components Inc., located in Mississauga, Ontario, is now accepting applications for the position of Component Shop - Mechanics.
About Us: Precision Aero Components is a Transport Canada-approved maintenance repair facility, specializing in Electrical, Hydraulic, Fuel, and Landing Gear components for over 20 years.
Purpose of Position: To maintain aircraft components per OEM and Transport Canada Standards and carry out maintenance tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs and overhauls to shop components in accordance with company procedures and all regulatory requirements.
- Certify repairs to aircraft components.
- Repair, overhaul, and test starters, starter/generators, AC generators, DC blowers, etc.
- Understand electrical components, read electrical schematics, and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
- Maintain the work area in a neat and tidy condition.
- Become familiar with Transport Canada Company manuals and documents.
- Follow company procedures in the completion of your duties.
- Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
- Perform various cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- No experience necessary; best suited for mechanically inclined individuals.
- Technical adeptness in electrical components.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Effective communication skills in both written and verbal English.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour, based on experience
