Keewatin Place is seeking a motivated, reliable, and organized individual to lead our Bakery Department. This is a full-time, year-round position with early morning starts and opportunities to take ownership of a busy and growing department.

About Our Bakery
This is not a scratch bakery. Our products are proofed from frozen and baked fresh daily. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to accurately forecast production based on sales trends and customer demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Bake and prepare all daily bakery products
- Monitor sales and waste levels and adjust production accordingly
- Ensure bakery displays remain full, fresh, and visually appealing
- Order bakery products and deli meats as required
- Maintain accurate inventory levels
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Serve customers at the deli counter
- Prepare sandwiches, trays, and other deli items
- Assist customers with product recommendations and special orders
- Prioritize daily tasks and ensure department standards are maintained
- Direct and support other staff members within the Bakery/Deli Department
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase sales
What We're Looking For
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Previous bakery, deli, food service, grocery, or supervisory experience is considered an asset
- Comfortable working early morning shifts
