We're looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team in a unique full-time role that splits time between Terra Dental and Sorensen Dental Group. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced assistant who enjoys variety, values teamwork, and is confident working in a modern, digital dental environment.
Position Details
1 Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant
Schedule:
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Sorensen Dental Group)
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Sorensen Dental Group)
- Wednesday: 7:15 AM – 3:30 PM (Terra Dental)
- Thursday: 7:15 AM – 3:30 PM (Terra Dental)
- Friday: Off

What You'll Do
- Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain the highest standards of infection prevention and sterilization.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate patient records.
- Perform digital intraoral scans and support digital workflows.
- Support the clinical team in delivering an exceptional patient experience.
What You'll Bring
- Registered Dental Assistant in good standing with the Alberta College of Dental Assistants (ACDA).
- Experience in a general practice setting is preferred.
- Confidence using digital intraoral scanners is highly desirable. Terra Dental utilizes a fully digital workflow and does not take traditional impressions, so proficiency with digital scanning is important.
- Experience with ClearDent, Dentrix and Primescan is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to work seamlessly between two supportive clinic teams.
