Overview
We are currently hiring hardworking and reliable Demolition Workers to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience with interior and exterior demolition, safely using hand and power tools, and working in physically demanding environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial demolition work
- Remove drywall, flooring, ceilings, walls, cabinets, fixtures, and other building materials
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, and move construction materials and debris
- Sort and dispose of demolition waste according to site procedures
- Assist with site preparation and cleanup
- Follow all health and safety regulations and wear required PPE
- Work effectively with supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule
- Perform heavy lifting and other general labour duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous demolition or construction labour experience preferred
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physically demanding work
- Reliable transportation to various job sites is an asset
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of construction safety practices is an asset
- WHMIS, Working at Heights, or other construction certifications are an asset
Start Time - 6am
Pay: $20.00-$28.47 per hour
