CGI seeks a Communications Consultant, Talent Marketing & Alumni Engagement, to support the launch and evolution of CGI's first global alumni network. Introduced in recognition of CGI's 50th anniversary, this new community will strengthen long term relationships with former CGI Partners while advancing CGI's business, talent and brand objectives globally.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape a first of its kind initiative at CGI, from supporting the global rollout strategy and launch plan to sustaining and growing an engaged alumni community over time. Working as part of a cross functional global team within the Marketing & Communication department, the successful candidate will help drive alumni engagement through a platform that enables automated communications, community building and other engagement strategies, including recruiting and business development opportunities.
This position also will help advance the broader talent brand and marketing function, including initiatives that communicate CGI's candidate value proposition and stories across channels of influence to attract talent and gain preference.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Alumni program development
.Partner with our external vendor to deliver the CGI alumni platform in alignment with business and technical requirements.
.Collaborate with global editorial, creative and digital teams to ensure the platform experience and content align with CGI's brand and business priorities.
.Manage project plans, timelines and deliverables to support a successful global launch.
.Work with CIO, HR, Data Privacy and other stakeholders to ensure platform capabilities provide a robust alumni community experience while aligning with regulatory and internal standards.
.Lead platform testing, quality assurance and launch readiness activities.
.Support the development of the global launch plan.
Alumni network roll out and ongoing management
. Support the development and evolution of the alumni engagement strategy to sustain participation and expand network reach globally.
.Collaborate with teams to introduce new content/features.
.Serve as the primary global community manager for the alumni platform and oversee ongoing platform maintenance, moderation and community monitoring.
.With the vendor, continuously enhance the user experience, including platform usability, navigation and engagement features.
.Develop a network of metro market community managers.
.Help identify opportunities to strengthen alumni advocacy, talent attraction and business development outcomes.
.Design and manage surveys and feedback mechanisms to measure engagement, satisfaction and platform effectiveness.
.Track program performance and develop reporting dashboards and insights for stakeholders.
1. Talent brand and marketing support
. Communicate CGI's candidate value proposition across our branded global digital channels
.Gather, write and package stories and messages that reinforce the candidate and employee value proposition
.Engage with talent marketers within our regional marketing communications teams to share best practices and resources
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
.University degree in marketing, communications, or related discipline.
.3- 5 years of experience in communications, marketing or employer branding; experience in managing an online community is an asset.
.Strong experience in project management, managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
.Experience working across multiple digital channels and with various digital tools.
.Ability to create engaging content, think creatively and take initiative.
.Demonstrated ability to operate in a delivery focused, fast paced environment.
. Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000–$135,000 This role is an existing vacancy.
