Overview
We are seeking a friendly Part Time Barista/All Rounder at 1003 Brunch and Dessert!
what will you do
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and consistency
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Assist with food preparation and food safety practices to ensure quality standards are met
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs efficiently
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling stations and dining spaces
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist in serving food items and managing customer requests during busy periods
- Positive and welcoming attitudes to different customers
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A passion for coffee and learning new brewing techniques is a plus!
