Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Kinesiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in human movement and rehabilitation to assess, develop, and implement personalized exercise programs for clients. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and healthcare professionals. The Kinesiologist will work closely with individuals recovering from injuries or managing chronic conditions, helping them achieve their physical health goals.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop tailored exercise programs based on individual needs and goals.
- Monitor client progress and adjust programs as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and overall wellness.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records of client assessments, progress, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Utilize software tools such as Jane for scheduling, reporting, and communication purposes.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems to manage client information efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients.
- Ability to communicate complex medical terminology in an understandable manner.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols as they relate to exercise programs.
- Capability to computerize data for tracking client progress and outcomes.
