Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to efficiently manage inventory and support warehouse distribution operations. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to safety, and the ability to perform heavy lifting tasks. The Forklift Operator plays a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse functions and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks and containers
- Move, stack, and organize materials and inventory
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment
- Perform daily forklift and equipment safety inspections
- Maintain accurate inventory handling and tracking
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and Ontario safety regulations
- Coordinate effectively with supervisors and team members

- Fall Arrest / Safety Equipment
Requirements:
- Valid forklift certification and relevant safety training
- Previous forklift and warehouse experience preferred
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical fitness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Basic mathematical skills for load calculations and inventory handling
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Preferred Language Chinese
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
