As a picture framing specialist, you will work closely with clients using a variety of design and techniques in an attractive and protective environment. Your ability to present colors, design and techniques will be very important during this process.
Communication and understanding the client's needs is a key requirement when customizing their treasured memories using conservation methods and materials.
This role will provide you with an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in these areas while working on interesting and varied projects.
The following experience is required
- Minimum 3 years sales experience with superior customer service
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong color and design skills
- Measuring skills
- Basic knowledge of art (would be an asset)
Picture framing experience including awareness of conservation framing, and frame assembling and finishing would be an asset. However, training will be provided for the right candidate with potential for the position.
- Store hours are Monday-Friday 9:30 to 5 & Saturdays 10 to 4.
- Will not be required to work evenings or Sundays.
Pay: $16.75-$17.75 per hour
