This role involves managing guest entry, processing ticket sales, and ensuring a smooth, organized door experience. This is an ideal job for someone that enjoys nightlife and being social and is great for students as well! The successful candidate will contribute to the overall success of our events by delivering exceptional service and maintaining an efficient, professional entry point.
Responsibilities
- Process ticket sales and payments accurately using Square POS
- Verify tickets, IDs, and guest lists to ensure accurate entry
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a positive first impression
- Greet guests and manage check-in at the door
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Communicate with event staff to resolve entry issues and maintain smooth guest flow
Skills
- Familiarity with POS systems is an asset
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle guest flow efficiently during peak entry times
- Proven experience in customer service, hospitality, or event environment
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with availability for evening/weekend events when needed
Languages
- Fluent in English is mandatory
- Fluent is French/Arabic/Spanish is an asset
