We are hiring Budtenders ideally with a background in retail cannabis & customer service. Candidates must have Cannabis Sellsafe to work in the cannabis industry. Applicants without their sellsafe confirmed will not be considered.
Nights and weekends are required for this position.
Requirements
- Sellsafe Certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Reliable transportation
- One year minimum of customer service experience
- Experience in retail sales (preferred)
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Retail Cannabis experience (considered an asset)
- Evening and weekend availability
Job Duties
- Greet customers and provide guidance on where they may find items within the store
- Assist each customer in finding the right and most suitable product
- Create an educational and informative experience for all customers
- Advise customers on the use of our products, and provide direction
- Participate in merchandising
- Educate customers on different products, strains and consumption methods
- Handle cash float
- Complete inventory counts as necessary
- Help in maintaining a clean store
- Maintain a high level of customer service
- Assist with setting up merchandise displays
- Maintain sales records for inventory control
- Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems (Cova POS)
- Work in partnership with store managers and other employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence
- Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures
- Participate in all manner of store maintenance and cleaning
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
- Performs other duties as required
Work Remotely
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
