About the Role
Sawmill Creek Golf Club is looking for a reliable part-time Cleaner to join our team. This position covers guest room turnover after check-out as well as cleaning of our restaurant and clubhouse facilities. Hours vary week to week depending on room bookings and event volume, so flexibility is important.
What You'll Do
- Clean and reset guest rooms after check-out, including stripping and making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms
- Restock towels, linens, and guest amenities
- Clean restaurant and clubhouse areas including dining spaces, washrooms, entryways, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors and high-touch surfaces
- Remove garbage and recycling and take it to designated areas
- Report maintenance issues, damage, or missing items to the supervisor
- Keep cleaning supplies organized and track stock levels
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an asset but not required, training is provided
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work
- Able to work independently and manage time well
- Comfortable with physical work including standing, bending, lifting up to [25] lbs, and being on your feet for the length of a shift
- Reliable transportation to the course
- Available weekends and holidays
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
