COACHES NEEDED – NIKE HIGH-PERFORMANCE VOLLEYBALL CAMPS (INDOOR & BEACH)
We are currently seeking experienced volleyball coaches to lead our Nike High-Performance Volleyball Camps across both indoor and beach environments this summer.
This role includes:
- Indoor Volleyball Coach at Mount Joy Sports Dome – leading approximately 9 weeks of summer camp programming.
- Beach Volleyball Coach at Markham Sports Dome – leading 2–3 weeks of beach volleyball camps.
Coaches assigned to beach volleyball will have the opportunity to coach indoor sessions at Mount Joy during weeks they are not scheduled for beach programming.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-level training sessions, maximizing athlete performance, and providing detailed feedback on technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game. This role requires strong planning, communication, and leadership skills, along with a passion for developing athletes in a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily sign-in and sign-out of athletes
- Plan and deliver structured, high-performance training sessions
- Coach groups of 10–40 athletes per day (based on registration)
- Design and implement weekly training plans and full-day camp schedules (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Teach proper training habits and game understanding
- Lead and coach game-play scenarios and competitive drills
- Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback
- Identify individual strengths and areas for improvement
- Develop offensive, defensive, and tactical awareness
- Stay current with modern coaching methods and athlete development practices
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding player development
- Act as a positive role model and leader on and off the court
Requirements
- Proven experience coaching indoor and/or beach volleyball
- Strong understanding of high-performance athlete development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage large groups effectively
- Energetic, professional, and athlete-centered approach
- Availability during summer camp weeks (flexibility between indoor and beach assignments is an asset)

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
