Part-Time Classroom Instructional Aid
Who we are:
We are a small private Christian School located in Hanover Ontario. The vision of the school is to provide multi-dimensional Christ-based education to the town of Hanover and surrounding areas, by providing individually focused education and consistency between home, church, and school. We envision this school will help to build a stronger community and allow students access to classroom and project-based learning.
Hanover Community Christian School offers an immersive experience for students, volunteers, educators and community members alike. We operate in an innovative yet time-tested environment of a “One Room School House” style with multiple grades and levels in a classroom. We currently operate 2 classroom environments, Kindergarten-Grade 2 and Grades 3-8. The day is set up in three blocks, first being numeracy and literacy, both personalized towards the students' levels. Second block is the arts, physical education, French, social studies and science. The third block is a hands-on experience that builds on the theory of earlier in the day. With a Christian focus and Bible study interlaced throughout the day, students are able to connect with God, as they learn the Ontario curriculum. Field trips, along with visits from homeschool and community members on Fridays make this school a unique experience for all involved. Our parents, volunteers, and ministry members from our family of community churches are integral parts of the foundation of our school. Students learn from role models who all share in the values that make our school uniquely 'us'.
