Fred Victor is seeking an Application Maintenance Consultant to provide ongoing technical stewardship and
maintenance of the Central Client Database (CCD), a custom-developed application supporting client information
management and reporting across the organization.
The consultant will be responsible for maintaining the application codebase, supporting application stability and
security, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing approved enhancements, and ensuring the application
remains aligned with organizational and legislative requirements. The role will work closely with internal
stakeholders and infrastructure support providers to ensure the continued reliability, security, and sustainability of
the application.
The role is responsible for ensuring the CCD remains secure, operational, and maintainable following transition from
the original development vendor. This includes oversight of the application codebase, deployment process,
supporting infrastructure, and documentation to ensure long-term sustainability and reduced vendor dependency.
This is a fractional role, estimated at approximately 20 hours per month, with additional time required during
transition, incidents, or planned maintenance activities.
The CCD is a custom application built using a Django backend, React frontend, PostgreSQL database, and Docker-
based deployment model. The CCD is a standalone application and does not currently rely on external system
integrations. The role does not include full-time development or feature development work. This is a maintenance
and stewardship role focused on stability, continuity, and risk mitigation.
