Empire Wireless Mobile — Toronto (Danforth)
Empire Wireless Mobile is a busy, well-established phone and electronics repair shop on the Danforth, serving the community since 2012 with a 4.6-star reputation and 138+ Google reviews. We're looking for a sharp, friendly, tech-savvy individual to be the face of the shop and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
If you're organized, great with people, comfortable around devices, and want to take real ownership of a small business storefront — we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Be the first point of contact for customers in person, on the phone, and over email
- Handle device intake — log repairs, describe issues clearly, set expectations on turnaround and pricing
- Provide quotes and walk customers through repair options, warranties, and payment
- Run the point-of-sale — process payments (cash, credit, debit, e-transfer, crypto) and keep transactions tidy
- Manage scheduling and follow up with customers on repair status and pickups
- Keep the shop organized — track inventory and parts, keep the front of house clean and presentable
- Light tech support — basic troubleshooting, software setup, data transfers, accessory sales
- Help with the little things that keep a small business humming (online listings, reviews, restocking, etc.)
What We're Looking For
- Strong customer service skills and a genuinely friendly, professional manner
- Comfortable and confident with technology — smartphones, tablets, computers, and common apps
- Organized and reliable, able to juggle multiple customers and tasks at once
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Trustworthy and self-directed — able to run the shop independently
- Prior retail, front-desk, or repair-shop experience is a plus (but not required if you're a fast learner)
- Interest in electronics repair is a big bonus

- Hours: Mon–Fri 12 PM–7 PM, Sat 12 PM–5 PM (Sun closed)
