Techsep Ltd. is a leading wastewater treatment company operating across Ontario. We're looking for a dedicated Hydrovac Operator to join our team.
The Role
Working out of our Lanark warehouse, you'll support filter media replacement projects across the province. Typically, one week is spent on projects in the Ottawa area, followed by a week on projects elsewhere in Ontario. This role involves regular travel and is limited to pumping operations only — no excavation work is required.
We're open to the operator keeping the truck at home overnight, so there's no need to come into the office every day.
Responsibilities
- Operate hydrovac trucks safely and efficiently, in compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
- Clean the hydrovac truck as scheduled or required
- Ensure the hydrovac truck is stored safely and securely
- Participate in routine maintenance
- Follow instructions and adapt to changing site conditions
- This position does not involve excavation work. Duties are limited to pumping operation only
What We're Looking For
- Valid DZ or AZ license with a clean driver's abstract
- Hydrovac experience is a strong asset
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to report issues clearly
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Self-motivated team player comfortable with regular travel
Brand new 2027 Foremost 1600. Starting wage is decided with experience level. Only successful candidates will be contacted.

Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour
