Position: Overnight Concierge, Casual and On Call
- Looking for summer holiday coverage.
- Schedule: 8pm to 8am, or 11pm to 7am
Note: This is not a security or night auditor role and is not suitable for those with full-time commitments elsewhere.
This position is Friday 9pm to 7am, and Saturday 8pm to 8am until September 1st, then it will revert to on call after that. We are looking for someone to start immediately (as in the week of July 29th).
Who We’re Looking For
We seek a mature, compassionate individual with:
· Strong common sense and experience working with seniors.
· The ability to stay calm and composed in emergencies.
· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
· Keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
· Physical capability to perform light janitorial tasks (e.g., vacuuming, cleaning touch points, moping floors, emptying garbage).
Key Responsibilities
· Respond promptly to emergencies, including building issues (e.g., power outages) or resident medical situations.
· Perform light janitorial duties to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
· Ensure the security and safety of our buildings.
Requirements
· Availability for additional shifts (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM or 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM,
including weekends and holidays).
· Valid First Aid certificate (required before starting).
· Clear criminal record check (cost covered by us).
· Physical ability to bend, lift, reach, take stairs, and perform light janitorial tasks.
· Valid work permit (applications without one will not be reviewed).
