Automotive Service Technician

What You’ll Do
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across all vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, steering/suspension, electrical, HVAC) with a focus on first-time quality.
- Use OEM and aftermarket scan tools to identify faults, document findings, and complete accurate repair orders.
- Follow shop processes for estimates, parts ordering, and workflow; communicate clearly with service advisors and teammates.
- Road test vehicles to verify customer concerns and completed repairs; uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by mentoring junior techs and sharing best practices.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician in a professional shop environment.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Strong diagnostic skills with modern scan tools and service information systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Journeyperson/Journeyman certification or Red Seal is an asset (preferred, not required).
Nice to Have
- Experience with hybrid/EV systems.
- Provincial inspection certification.
- OEM certifications or aftermarket training credits.
Schedule & Employment Type
- Full-time, permanent.
- Typical schedule: Monday–Friday; occasional Saturdays as needed.
