About Nager7™
Nager7™ is a specialized swimming school dedicated to teaching adults how to swim. Our programs are designed for adult learners of all skill levels, from complete beginners overcoming their fear of water to experienced swimmers looking to improve their technique and performance.
We are seeking a passionate, professional, and reliable Swim Instructor who enjoys helping adults achieve their swimming goals in a safe, supportive, and motivating environment.
Duties
- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety protocols
- Monitor participants during lessons to ensure safety and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all partcipants.
- Teach swimming lessons according to the Nager7™ methodology
- Demonstrate swimming techniques and exercises clearly and effectively
- Provide ongoing feedback, encouragement, and support to students
- Monitor participant progress and help students achieve their goals
- Create a positive, safe, and motivating learning environment
- Deliver a professional customer experience in both French and English
- Prepare lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and participant goals
- Maintain a clean and organized pool area, including setting up equipment and ensuring safety regulations are followed
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding participant progress and safety guidelines
Experience
- Prior experience teaching swimming or working with children in an instructional setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate techniques confidently
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, encouraging demeanor
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of participants of all ages and skill levels
- Certification in CPR, Water Safety Instructor and National lifeguard is a must.
Schedule
Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Wednesday: 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Friday: 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Saturday: 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
