Overview
The role is for a structural drafter to work in a team responsible for telecom infrastructure designs and other technologies.
Duties
- Design infrastructure projects for telecommunication companies, and other technology based projects.
- Create schematics and drafting plans for various structural, electrical, and telecom components, ensuring clarity and adherence to engineering standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to interpret design concepts and incorporate necessary modifications.
- Utilize AutoCAD 2D at proficiency level to generate preliminary drawings and construction drawings.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback, ensuring precision and compliance with safety codes and building regulations.
- Assist in preparing construction documents, material lists, and assembly instructions for fabrication and onsite assembly.
- Support project teams with 2D animation visualizations to better communicate design intent when needed.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Structural Drafter or similar role within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
- Strong understanding of drafting standards, building codes, and construction processes.
- Experience working on civil or structural, or telecom projects that involve complex schematics and detailed technical drawings.
- Knowledge of construction practices combined with excellent attention to detail for accurate drafting.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions clearly while maintaining high-quality work under deadlines.
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
