Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Packager to join our team at English Sausage Co. in our Sorrento store. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring our products are packaged efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall customer experience and store operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and package food products following safety and quality standards.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of packaging areas.
- Support food handling procedures to ensure safety and freshness.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily packaging goals.
- Ensure all packaging materials are stocked and readily available.
- Follow health regulations and company policies to uphold food safety.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues.
- Help with other store duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in food handling or packaging roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Previous experience in grocery or food retail is an asset.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
