SHOE PER is an independently owned family footwear store that carries current brands and styles for men women and children. This is a brand new store at South Keys in Ottawa. The store is a blend of two stores in one. It includes Letellier Shoes, in business since 1897 and currently at 146 Rideau Street in downtown Ottawa. This store will be a combination of Letellier Shoes and SHOE PER, a family footwear store with 6 locations .
The ideal candidate will be responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory. You will work closely with the management team to ensure proper procedures are in place.
We are seeking a Stock Supervisor to join our team in Ottawa, Canada. This key role involves overseeing stock levels, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of stockroom activities at our retail location in Canada. Your contributions will support our commitment to outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily stockroom activities to ensure efficient inventory management
- Receive product from receiving report or purchase order.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the stockroom area.
- Handle deliveries, defectives, swaps, weekly transfers between stores
- Assist with inventory count and reconcile differences between count and our records
- Uphold safety standards and company policies at all times.
- Include selling, greeting, customer service as required.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail stock management and customer service.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to supervise a team.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
