Position Summary
As a Server, you play an important role in creating an enjoyable dining experience for our residents. You will provide friendly, attentive service while helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our dining room. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional table service to residents and guests during meal times.
- Set up and maintain the dining room before, during, and after service.
- Serve meals and beverages in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
- Clear and reset tables while ensuring the dining room remains clean and inviting.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection prevention, and workplace safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure an outstanding dining experience.
- Build positive relationships with residents by providing friendly, respectful, and compassionate service.
Qualifications
- Food service experience is required.
- Experience in retirement living, healthcare, or hospitality is considered an asset.
- Empathy for seniors and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with HACCP, WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety, and sanitation standards is an asset.
