Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, Kroll software, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Starting pay will be based on experience and ability to work independently and as part of a team using Kroll software in the dispensary.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and assist with stock management.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards of practice.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing prescription orders and inventory management.
Skills
- Previous pharmacy or Kroll experience is a requirement.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
