This setup/operator position is responsible for the set-up, operation and maintenance of of a 10 stand roll forming mill along with pre and post notch dies that shape steel coil into finished components.
**This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tooling setup and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
•Machine operation & setup: Configure roll forming mill, including changing tools, rollers and dies to meet production specifications. Using shop tools such as wrenches, verniers and mill computerized controls.
•Production monitoring: Oversee the line for consistent output, making adjustments as necessary (ei speed/pressure) to maintain dimensional tolerances of cross sections and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
•Quality control: Inspect finished parts against blueprints, measuring dimensions to ensure accuracy and record findings.
•Material handling: Load, unload and manage steel coils. Strap bundles of finished goods and remove from mill.
•Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, lubrication and minor repairs to ensure machine efficiency.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
