General Manager
Dy-Tech Inc. is a Canadian precision engineering and manufacturing company with over 45 years of experience supporting customers in electronics, communications, infrastructure, industrial, and defense-related industries. We specialize in precision sheet metal fabrication, welded assemblies, electromechanical assembly, and engineered manufacturing solutions for OEM clients across North America.
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead daily operations, manufacturing performance, customer relationships, and team development as the company continues to grow and expand into new markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities across fabrication, welding, assembly, and shipping departments
- Manage production scheduling, workflow efficiency, quality performance, and on-time delivery
- Lead and support employees across operations, administration, and production teams
- Participate in hiring, employee management, performance reviews, HR coordination, and workplace culture development
- Maintain and improve operational procedures, quality systems, and documentation practices
- Support and maintain ISO-style quality processes and Controlled Goods Program (CGP) compliance requirements
- Work closely with ownership on strategic planning, process improvement, and business growth initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key partners
- Support quoting, project follow-up, and customer communication when required
- Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and production teams to ensure customer expectations are met
- Help identify operational efficiencies, margin improvements, and growth opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–10 years of management experience within metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial operations
- Strong understanding of precision sheet metal fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly environments
- Experience managing production teams and manufacturing operations
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills
- Experience with OEM manufacturing and custom project-based production environments
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems and documentation practices
- Experience working within Controlled Goods Program (CGP) environments is considered a strong asset
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to balance operational execution with customer service and business development
Preferred Assets
- Existing industry relationships or proven sales/business development experience
- Experience supporting growth initiatives and operational scaling
- Engineering or technical manufacturing background considered an asset

Dy-Tech offers a competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications.
For the right candidate with demonstrated sales capabilities, leadership experience, and proven customer relationship success, an enhanced compensation structure including potential equity participation may be available.

Pay: $40,868.19-$133,962.16 per year
