We are seeking a Fully Experienced Alteration Specialist to join our team in Airdrie. Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of clothing alterations, including hemming, resizing, and repairs with precision and efficiency
- Consult with customers to understand their alteration needs and provide expert advice on fabric and style options
- Ensure all alterations meet high-quality standards and are completed within agreed timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding progress and completion of their garments
Requirements
- Proven experience in clothing alterations, tailoring, or seamstress work
- Strong skills in sewing machines, hand sewing, and fabric handling
- Basic math skills for measurements and adjustments
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Attention to detail and craftsmanship excellence
- Reliable transportation or means of commuting to Airdrie location
