Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to guests, ensuring presentation meets standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Follow all food safety protocols and maintain proper food handling techniques
- Support the overall flow of the kitchen during busy service times
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of food industry standards, meal preparation, and cooking techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is essential
- Experience with serving and food service operations is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning and growth within the culinary field
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
