About the Role
Captivated Construction is a growing construction company based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We take pride in doing quality work, from excavation and site prep to landscaping and hardscaping, and we build teams that show up ready to work hard and learn.
We're looking for a reliable, motivated Labourer to join our excavation and landscaping crew. This is a hands-on, physical role working outdoors on a variety of residential and commercial projects. No two days are the same, and there's room to grow for the right person.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with excavation, grading, and site preparation
- Supporting landscaping and hardscaping installations
- Operating hand tools and basic equipment under supervision
- Moving and placing materials including soil, stone, and mulch
- Keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe
- Supporting the crew lead and operators as needed throughout the workday
What We're Looking For
- Ability to perform physical labour outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, on time, ready to work, committed to the team
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or labouring is an asset but not required
- Valid driver's licence is a plus
Compensation & Details
- $19 to $23 per hour, based on experience
- Full-time seasonal position with potential for year-round work
- Halifax, NS and surrounding areas
- Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime
