Position Overview
- This role offers hours ranging from part time to full-time, depending on seasonal demand.
- Must be available Monday through Friday, 10 am - 6 pm
- Must be available to work some weekends as required
We're seeking a florist who:
- Has a minimum of 3 years of professional floral design experience or is a graduate of a reputable floral design school with equivalent professional experience.
- Has a strong portfolio that showcases creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail.
- Is highly creative with a refined sense of colour, texture, composition, and design.
- Keeps up with the latest trends in floral design, fashion, art, interiors, and the creative industries, and draws inspiration from them.
- Loves working with people and provides exceptional customer service.
- Is friendly, positive, professional, and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, works efficiently under pressure, and is able to multitask.
- Has excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Takes pride in craftsmanship and consistently produces high-quality work.
- Is dependable and self-motivated
Responsibilities
- Design premium hand-tied spiral bouquets and floral vase arrangements( traditional and contemporary styles.)
- Create floral designs for weddings, events, and installations.
- Assist customers in-store, over the phone, and online with professionalism and care.
- Process, condition, and maintain the quality and freshness of flowers.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring studio environment.
- Collaborate with the team to bring creative concepts to life.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional florist experience, or equivalent education from a reputable floral design school.
- Strong portfolio required.
- A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle are considered an asset, but are not required.
