Town and Country Motel is a family-owned motel located in Nipigon, Ontario. We take pride in providing clean, comfortable, and welcoming accommodations for travelers, workers, and long-term guests.
Our motel has 18 guest rooms, including 6 kitchenette units, and we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team.

Position Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms efficiently and maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the motel.
Duties include cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchenette units, and common areas while paying close attention to detail.
This is primarily a daytime position that begins after guest check-outs and prepares rooms for incoming reservations.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Clean kitchenette units, including dishes and kitchen surfaces
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Restock guest amenities and toiletries
- Occasionally assist with laundry (towels and linens)
- Report maintenance or repair issues to management
- Follow motel cleaning standards and procedures
- Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to lift supplies and operate cleaning equipment
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset
- Must be able to reliably commute to Nipigon
