Role Summary
Decibel is seeking a Continuous Improvement Site Lead to lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives at our Ontario manufacturing facility. Working independently as the site's dedicated CI resource, this role will identify, propose, and lead improvement projects from analysis through execution, while partnering closely with our Calgary-based Continuous Improvement Manager and cross-functional site leadership.
This role goes beyond analysis and reporting: the Continuous Improvement Site Lead will take ownership of initiatives, drive root cause analysis and corrective action to completion, and be a visible driver of a continuous improvement culture on-site, all while providing the data-driven insight needed to support strategic and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead continuous improvement initiatives at the Chatham site end-to-end, from opportunity identification through implementation and results tracking

Develop, evaluate, and maintain production financial reporting tools
-
Evaluate improvement projects to determine return on investment (ROI)

Review and assess production task rates to validate product-level feasibility
-
Lead root cause analysis of recurring issues and drive corrective/preventative actions with cross-functional teams

Partner with Chatham Site Leadership to identify and prioritize efficiency opportunities

Develop and maintain Jotform-based tools and connect them with other data sources (e.g., inventory, quality, performance) to identify trends, correlations, and opportunities

Independently plan and execute efficiency and cost-reduction projects, managing timelines and stakeholders without on-site CI leadership support

Create and implement standard operating procedures for process analysis and root cause analysis

Lead training for the operations team on new tools, methodologies, and process changes

Train production teams on developed or revised SOPs

Manage the progress and performance of leaders through the Gemba Academy platform

Act as the primary point of contact for CI matters on-site, keeping the Calgary-based CI Manager and Site Leadership informed of operational deviations, project status, and performance insights

Prepare and present reports and project updates to the Site Leadership team

Champion a culture of continuous improvement on-site by communicating the benefits of change and building buy-in across departments

Perform other duties as assigned by your manager

Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business, or a related field
-
3-4 years of relevant continuous improvement or operational analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
-
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (asset)

Advanced skills in Excel and analytical techniques (tested during selection)

Experience with ERP systems such as Sage X3 (asset)

Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work independently with minimal day-to-day oversight

Cannabis industry or other consumer packaged goods experience is a plus but not required
