Overview
We are seeking a Production Assistant to support our production manager at our food processing facility. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, assisting with the production of a unique and valuable food ingredient. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be conscientious. Ideally this person would have some mechanical ability or experience and/or have some agricultural experience. This paid position is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in processing.
Responsibilities
- Operating food processing equipment
- Receiving and cleaning grain
- Loading trucks and operating forklifts and skid steers
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Good physical condition and able to lift 50 lbs
- Drivers licence
- Mechanical or agricultural experience would be an asset
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative and independence
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
