Cheam View Veterinary Hospital is a busy, full service, small animal clinic in Chilliwack, BC. We value veterinary accessibility and work closely with several non-profits where we give back to our community. We are expanding and hiring for several full and part time positions. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 1 Year Veterinary experience only.

Job Duties:
- Ensure excellent patient care
- Assisting veterinarian or veterinary technician with patients in surgery, exam, treatment, and nursing care
- Fill prescriptions and dispense medications under the guidance of the veterinarians
- Document care and contribute to patient medical records
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team, and clients
- Maintain order and cleanliness of the practice including exam, treatment, nursing, and surgical rooms
- Assist with animal restraint and procedures
- Provide client education and communicate discharge instructions
- Provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Secondary School Diploma
- Post secondary education in Veterinary Medicine Office Administration (VMOA), Animal Care, Veterinary Assistant or any other related program is preferred
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A CLINIC /medical facility
- Computer literacy
- Can work well under pressure
- Is coach-able and open to further training in order to assist our technicians and veterinarians with restraining and other various tasks
- Has a positive team-oriented attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Available to work evenings/weekends a must
Salary: $18.25 -22 per hour (depending on experience)

Experience:
- veterinary technician: 1 year (preferred)
