The Bertossi Group is seeking Experienced Bakers to help us carry on our tradition as award-winning Restaurants! This position requires overnight hours, starting at 12am.
The Bertossi Group has set the standard for fine dining in Halifax for over 30 years, with six current destination restaurants: Water Polo, Matadora, Via Condotti, Ristorante a Mano, The Bicycle Thief & il Mercato Trattoria, as well as two luxury Cafes: Pane e Circo.

Job Description
We are looking for someone who has experience demonstrating show-stopping Pastry talent in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. If you can picture yourself working with a restaurant named one of Canada’s Top 100, and are interested in working at Halifax’s busiest restaurants with the city’s leading culinary professionals, we definitely want to hear from you!
The Day to Day:
- Under the direction of our Pastry Chefs, you will prepare fine dining focaccia, sourdough, buns, and doughs our luxury restaurants & cafes
- Inspire excellence for all team members, while ensuring The Bertossi Group’s dedication to spectacular cuisine is met at all levels
- Ensures proper health and safety procedures are followed by all team members
