Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. | 24 hours/week
$38-47/hour
No overnight shifts.

What you will do

Complete nursing assessments, health-care plans, progress reports, PRN protocols and follow-up documentation.

Respond to medical concerns and emergencies, provide follow-up care and liaise with hospital and community providers.

Administer treatments, perform nursing procedures and delegated medical acts within CNO standards and organizational policy.

Monitor medications, treatments and drug therapy; identify concerns and coordinate recommendations with prescribers and consultants.

Educate staff and families on conditions such as diabetes and epilepsy, as well as procedures, treatments and safe care techniques.

Complete regular rounds, coordinate referrals and collaborate with hospital and community partners.
What you bring
-
Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Current registration as an RN in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Relevant post-graduate nursing experience supporting people with developmental disabilities, autism, mental-health needs, challenging behaviours and/or dual diagnoses.

Strong independent assessment, care planning, prioritization and problem-solving skills.

Confidence working autonomously and within an interdisciplinary team, with clear communication and strong documentation skills.

Sound clinical judgement and commitment to CNO standards of practice.
