RSP Enterprise Inc. is a growing equipment wholesaler operating a small group of related companies across British Columbia and Ontario. We work in a practical, hands-on environment and value accuracy, ownership, and long-term stability.
We are currently seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to take ownership of day-to-day accounting, monthly close, and year-end tax support across 2–3 related entities.
This role is well suited for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working directly in the books, is comfortable with QuickBooks Online, and values a stable in-house position with clear scope and responsibility.
Key ResponsibilitiesDaily & Monthly Accounting
- Maintain accurate and timely day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Record and review accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank, credit card, and clearing account reconciliations
- Prepare month-end journal entries and supporting schedules
- Ensure accounting records are complete, organized, and well documented
Tax & Year-End Support
- Prepare and file GST/HST and PST returns
- Assist with year-end working papers and schedules
- Coordinate with external CPA firms for T2 corporate tax filings
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and tax compliance
Multi-Entity & Operational Support
- Maintain accounting records for 2–3 related companies
- Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Assist with inventory-related entries and adjustments (training provided if needed)
- Support internal accounting procedures and continuous process improvements
QualificationsRequired
- 2–5+ years of progressive accounting experience in an in-house or public practice environment
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
- Solid understanding of day-to-day accounting and month-end close
- Experience supporting Canadian tax filings (GST/HST, PST, T2)
- Ability to work on-site in Richmond, BC
Preferred
- CPA designation (CPA Canada) or progress toward CPA
- Experience supporting multiple small to mid-sized companies
- Background in wholesale, distribution, or inventory-based businesses
- Intermediate Excel skills (reconciliations, schedules, reporting)
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $72,000 – $100,800, based on experience and qualifications
