Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Hot Plate Salad Bar Associate to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and replenish salad bar ingredients, ensuring freshness and presentation
- Handle food with proper safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations
- Assist customers by serving salads and related items efficiently and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness of the salad bar area, including wiping down surfaces and sanitizing utensils
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow all food handling and safety protocols during meal preparation and service
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Ensure the salad bar remains organized, attractive, and fully stocked throughout service hours
Skills
- Experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to serve customers with professionalism and friendliness
- Basic cooking skills related to meal preparation and food presentation
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness, organization, and quality control
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Prior experience with food preparation or the food industry is a plus
