Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Line Cook/Barrista to join our dynamic team. This role combines food preparation, cooking, and customer service to provide an exceptional experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent food handling skills, and a friendly attitude. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Serve beverages and food items efficiently and courteously to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food with care to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Assist with meal preparation during busy hours, including assembling ingredients and plating dishes
- Operate coffee machines, espresso equipment, and other barista tools to craft beverages
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and meal preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or equipment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
Pay: $17.20-$27.26 per hour
