Project Manager Ecommerce Operations & Data

AutoShack is a leading North American online retailer of automotive parts, selling through its own website and major online marketplaces including Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.
We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on Project Manager to lead projects, manage staff, improve processes, and drive execution across our Ecommerce Operations & Data team.
This is not a project coordinator role. We are looking for a leader who can manage people, hold teams accountable, improve workflows, solve problems, and ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team responsible for ecommerce data, product content, catalogue maintenance, and operational projects.
- Create project plans, assign work, establish priorities, and track deliverables.
- Hold team members accountable for deadlines, quality, productivity, and communication.
- Review completed work and identify errors, gaps, or opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and improve workflows, reporting, quality-control processes, and team performance.
- Coordinate projects across Ecommerce, Product Data, Marketing, IT, and Operations teams.
- Track KPIs, project status, risks, and department performance.
- Research and resolve operational, data, and process-related issues.
- Provide regular status updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
- Minimum 3 years of direct people management experience.
- Experience assigning work, reviewing deliverables, coaching employees, and managing performance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with detailed data, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Must be able to work full-time onsite in Kanata.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CAPM, CSM, PSM, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience with ecommerce, product data, catalogue management, ERP, PIM, WMS, or marketplace operations.
- Experience creating KPIs, dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives.
This Role Is Not a Fit If You
- Have only project coordination or administrative support experience.
- Have not directly managed staff.
- Prefer managing projects through meetings and status reports without involvement in execution.
- Are uncomfortable holding team members accountable for deadlines and quality.
- Do not enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and driving results.
Hiring Process
Qualified candidates will be required to complete a practical assessment measuring project planning, communication, problem solving, attention to detail, data analysis, and management judgment prior to interviews.
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
