We are seeking a reliable and adaptable CNC Machine Operator to support daily operations. This role is ideal for someone early in their machining career who is willing to learn, take direction, and contribute across multiple areas of the shop.
You will be involved in CNC machine operation, basic inspection, and general shop support. Flexibility and a strong work ethic are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes)
- Load/unload parts and monitor machine cycles
- Perform basic deburring
- Complete in-process and final inspections using basic measuring tools
- Fill out QC reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with machine setup as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform routine machine maintenance (coolant checks, chip removal, etc.)
- Support other shop tasks as needed (material handling, packaging, etc.)
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of machining or manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic understanding of CNC machining processes is an asset
- Ability to read basic drawings and follow work instructions
- Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual
